Songtrust’s mission is to build a better music business. We work toward this mission by educating music
creators and empowering them to manage their royalties directly, without giving up any of their rights.

We believe that songwriters - which includes everyone involved in the song creation process, from vocalists to beatmakers to producers to bass players and beyond - can build healthy careers only when they take an active role in managing their business and owning their music.

Songtrust is working to change the historical underrepresentation of songwriters - especially independent songwriters - in the music industry’s power structure. We not only provide education and an accessible rights management system to help songwriters understand their rights and collect their royalties, but we are always relentlessly searching for ways we can simplify and unite the global music publishing industry.
