The Staff Backend Engineer will lead technical direction across backend systems, write production code, improve scalability, and mentor engineers.

Build production frontend experiences across React web and React Native mobile, narrow the gap between Figma prototypes and production code, evolve and maintain a cross-platform design system, prototype interactions, add micro-interactions and motion, mentor frontend engineers, and collaborate closely with product and design. On-site in NYC.

Own the Platform infrastructure roadmap to drive reliability and scalability. Lead observability, incident response, SLO/ SLA tracking, architecture tradeoffs, build-vs-buy decisions, developer experience, internal operations tooling, and introduce AI/agentic workflows to automate PDLC and improve velocity across engineering and GTM teams.
