The role: Workday HCM Administrator
Genius Sports is looking for a Workday HCM Analyst to join the Business Systems team. You will play a key role supporting the People Operations team and the growing business! This is an exciting opportunity to join Genius Sports as we accelerate our growth and build strong foundations across our systems
Who you are 

  • An experienced HCM Administrator/Analyst with a minimum of 4+ years' experience.  Workday HCM plus experience using some or all the following modules: Onboarding Core & Advanced Compensation, Time Off & Leave, Talent Management, Learning 
  • Experienced working with Ticketing systems, such as Jira. 
  • A strong communicator and able to build good relationships with colleagues in HR, Tech and across the business. 
  • A good listener, with the ability accurately collect information to understand and assess your stakeholder’s requirements. 
  • A multitasker, with experience working in a fast-paced environment with proven experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously 
  • Experience with integrations, such as point to point connectors using Workday Web Services or Workday Integration Cloud embedded in Workday Studio. 
  • Experience with data analysis, report writing and developing custom dashboards

What you’ll do 

  • Serve as the Business Systems partner supporting HR areas in Workday, providing guidance on and expertise on system functionality and best practice 
  • Serve as a consultative partner to business and HR leaders in service delivery 
  • Design and maintain system configuration, such as Supervisory Orgs and Workteams, Cost Centers 
  • Assist with Business Partner queries, e.g. corrections and rescinds 
  • Assist with the testing, validation and implementation of business process changes  
  • Work to meet expected business performance goals by providing full range of customer service 
  • Provide input to HRIS Lead, Workday Team Members, and stakeholders as appropriate 
  • Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training to improve policy and process acumen 
  • Other projects and duties as may be required by business needs 
  • Follow best practice principles in relation to system configuration 
  • Create & maintain user guides and documentation. 
  • Manage system upgrades. 
  • Undertake other projects and duties as required by the business to support the ongoing development and optimization of Workday and HR processes.

The base salary range for this role is $115,000 – $150,000. There are a number of factors which affect what the specific pay offer would be for this role, including location, seniority, and relevant educational and working experience. This is base salary only – all full-time roles will also be eligible to take part in Genius benefits and some roles may be eligible to take part in a variable compensation plan.
