Chase's growing Content organization is building out a social team with focus on travel, shopping/offers, dining, and lifestyle content. The team is a new initiative led by creative executives from restaurant discovery platform The Infatuation, which J.P. Morgan Chase acquired in 2021. Our mission is to create best-in-class content that breaks through the clutter, and ultimately helps Chase customers better engage with their benefits, inspiring them to travel, shop, and dine with Chase.
As a Vice President, Social in the Content team for Card and Connected Commerce at Chase, you will be responsible for overseeing strategy, content, and publishing process for all Chase Sapphire social media channels. You will build a team and develop cross team collaborative processes to manage high levels of output focused on key marketing messages and premium content for Sapphire card members and potential card member audiences that support Sapphire's business and marketing strategy. You will be the lead in planning, in-house or external production, publishing, and community management, as well as in the tracking of performance to optimize for growth and engagement KPIs. The ideal candidate has been in a social media leadership role at a large corporate brand or digital publication and has extensive knowledge of social media platform best practices, as well as an ability to quickly develop innovative storytelling formats.
Job Responsibilities

  • Build and manage Chase Sapphire's organic content calendar in coordination with the overall editorial and marketing strategy.
  • Define and track growth and engagement goals, while implementing strategies to achieve them.
  • Hire, manage, and mentor a team of social media managers to produce premium social first content across various marketing, partnership, and experiential subjects, while supporting and driving growth.
  • Facilitate strong working relationships and open collaboration across a cross-functional team that includes the Sapphire business team as well as editorial, brand, marketing, experiences, legal, compliance, and communications.
  • Partner with internal and external teams to establish an ongoing content strategy, and oversee creative development and best practices.
  • Collect, analyze, and report performance data, delivering clear and concise reports to leadership to guide strategic planning, growth and engagement KPIs.
  • Manage and oversee the budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources, while coordinating with third-party vendors to meet production goals and maintain quality standards.


Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • 7+ years in corporate brand social media and/or editorial.
  • 3+ years in a social media leadership role, specifically managing content creators.
  • Extensive experience with social management and analytics tools, including Sprinklr.
  • Ability to effectively oversee all elements of organic social media strategy with a high level of independence.
  • Experience producing content within a complex, highly regulated corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results through leadership and influence of cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed reports, summarizing findings, and delivering clear, compelling presentations to leadership.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to manage multiple projects at once, and deliver under tight deadlines independently.
  • A strong eye for high-quality visual content, including the ability to create and critique professional-quality video for social media.
  • Knowledge and up to date understanding of trends within the travel, dining, culture, and lifestyle categories.
  • Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally, for content production.


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Understanding of credit card benefits.
  • Experience with Asana and/or other project management tools.
  • Bachelor's degree.
