As a Vice President, Marketing Analytics Data Scientist Lead within the JPM Private Client Data & Analytics team, you will play a crucial role in managing and supporting our marketing strategy and campaign management lifecycle. You will have the opportunity to work directly with our clients, helping them design, develop, implement and track their strategic marketing campaigns from a data & analytics perspective.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the analytical optimization of marketing programs throughout the marketing lifecycle; opportunity, targeting, testing, reporting and insights analytics analyses including segmentations, behavioral funnels and other techniques to improve business function performance
- Collaborate with business partners & Technology to formulate quantifiable goals, advise on strategies and experimentation to achieve business goals
- Collaborate across data & analytics functions (Modeling, Execution and Centers of Excellence)
- Manage effective engagement in initiatives which require the development and deployment of advanced analytical solutions
- Advocate for specific data needed to monitor performance, targeting and execution, and other analytical support for business goals and maintain, improve, and assess processes and controls in support of business results
- Coach and lead junior team members in campaign analysis methods and approaches
- Lead partnership with stakeholders with strong understanding of business drivers and underlying data
- Follows industry trends and tests new tools and techniques to solve new/existing business challenges
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 6+ years of related Marketing Analytics experience
- Masters or PhD in a related field, or bachelor's with 5+ years' experience in a related discipline
- Advanced knowledge of complex statistical and data science techniques, ML algorithms: linear/logistic regression, Clustering, Decision Trees, Random Forest, Neural Networks, Gradient Boosting, text mining using Machine learning toolkits (Python, R)
- Experience working with various databases (Teradata, Oracle), Snowflake, AWS and advanced level database querying languages (SQL, HQL, SparkSQL) with modern cloud-based data architectures as well as technical understanding of data extraction, transformation, and load processing
- Hands-on experience in delivering analytics and insights to multiple levels of management (Including Test Design, Financials, Conversion/Response Reporting, Response Analysis, Incremental Analysis, Response Profiling and Target/Segmentation Analysis)
- Tangible experience with business strategy and tactical implementation
- Demonstrated ability to define business KPIs and establish measurement frameworks
- Ability to work and collaborate with and influence internal and external partners - problem-solving skills are essential. Must be able to think outside the box to implement creative solutions that solve business problems.
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment, meet deadlines while being detail oriented, organized, and perform at high standards
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Strong written and oral presentation / communication skills - the ability to convey complex information simply and clearly to senior business leaders and business partners
