We are hiring a Technical Account Manager in our New York City office.
About the Role:
As a Technical Account Manager, you will manage technical implementation, data collection and campaign set up for Applecart’s Decision Maker Insights reporting, as well as work directly with clients, external media partners and DSPs to troubleshoot. Your day-to-day will include collaborating with Applecart’s Product team to come up with innovative solutions to our client’s problems.
You will own testing new client tagging solutions, including understanding ad server macros and troubleshooting. You should be an expert in multiple programmatic DSPs, and are a self-starter who knows how to figure things out, even if it’s something you’ve never done before.
You will communicate regularly with our clients, their buying platforms, and our measurement partners and vendors to ensure that we can provide robust, uninterrupted, and insightful reporting to our clients on a regular cadence.
An ideal candidate has worked with custom-list targeting before, knows how to troubleshoot ad tags and ad server macros, and understands the nuances of reaching individuals 1 to 1 through digital advertising.
What You’ll Do:
- Work directly with programmatic partners to set up Applecart campaign tracking
- Create and manage tickets with partner(s) to set up new data flows for clients and buying platforms
- Join calls and email threads to walk through requirements for getting set up with Applecart Decision Maker Insights
- Build campaigns in ad server, setting up processes and infrastructure for error-free trafficking, including setting up ad tags and ad server macros
- Guide best practices for implementing ad tags and/or media data collection across different DSPs, and educate Client Services team on how to talk to their clients about ad tags
- Build relationships with external media partners and documentation on how to work with various partners
Experiences and Capabilities You Bring:
- 4+ years of experience trafficking programmatic campaigns, including Google Campaign Manager, TTD, Basis, other DSPs
- Client account management experience
- Track record of success in past project management roles
- Passion for process improvement and building best practices from scratch; love of problem solving
- Well-organized and a self-starter with close attention to detail
- Vendor management experience
- An energetic, upbeat disposition and excellent sense of humor
This is a hybrid role. Work from anywhere on Monday and Friday and in Applecart's New York City office Tuesday through Thursday.
Compensation:
Our compensation package consists of three components: (i) a base salary, (ii) annual cash bonus, and (iii) generous equity compensation.
The base salary range for this role is between $105,000.00-$120,000.00, based on the candidate's experience and skills relative to the requirements listed above. The salary range provided is exclusive of a significant amount of compensation that candidates will receive in the form of cash bonus and equity compensation. The salary range provided for this role is specific to candidates located in the New York City area.
