About the role

Flex is seeking an experienced Data Leader to spearhead our entire data organization. In this pivotal role, you will report to our Chief Strategy Officer and you’ll oversee our data platform teams—including data infrastructure, analytics engineering, and machine learning engineering—as well as analytics teams across all business domains like BI, Product, Marketing, and Sales. This is a unique opportunity to shape the data strategy of a fast-growing FinTech company and drive impactful, data-driven decisions across the organization.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the entire data organization, including data platform teams (data infra, analytics engineering, machine learning engineering) and analytics teams across all business domains (BI, Product, Marketing, Sales).
  • Ensure effective collaboration and operating models between data teams and the rest of the organization.
  • Align data architecture with business operations, making it scalable and future-proof for our stage of business.
  • Oversee the efficient generation, piping, storage, and consistency of data across the organization.
  • Own the analytics framework, connecting high-level business goals to team-level metrics, and ensure common terminology across the organization.
  • Drive explainability, forecasting, and actionable insights from top-level metrics down to granular components to support business decisions.
  • Develop strong experimentation capabilities and ensure the organization deploys experiments in the right settings.

The salary compensation range for this role will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and Flex's internal leveling guidelines and benchmarks.

  • For working locations in NY/NJ/CA, the base salary pay range will be $299,000 - $317,000
  • For all other states, the base salary pay range will be $269,000 - $285,000
