Our Supply Chain MTI & LogOps Data Governance Lead (S4/HANA) role will see you establish, develop and uphold an enterprise data governance framework, ensuring adherence to data policies, standards, and practices.
This exciting and new function is crucial for maintaining consistency and quality, as well as safeguarding data that helps us fulfil overall business requirements utilised during the design and implementation all integrated over the company MTI & LogOps solutions (ex. S4/HANA).
How you will contribute

  • Developing, driving and enhancing the enterprise data governance implementation roadmap, outlining strategic priorities for information-based capabilities within the function related to S4/HANA.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to thoroughly understand business objectives and requirements for MTI & LogOps data transformation initiatives as well as supporting project planning and management, to ensure compliance with best practices and legal frameworks within data governance.
  • Identify, educate and mentor different Data Governance personas (ex. Data Owners, Data Stewards, Data Custodians) within the function inline with the Data Governance & Stewardship practices.
  • Oversee the seamless integration of diverse data sources, ensuring seamless transition from SAP R3 data source to S4/HANA and relevant reporting platforms including definition of scope, data objects and data transformation.
  • Organise and lead sessions to identify and document domain critical data elements within the function with close collaboration from business and MDS.
  • Develop and maintain data catalogues, data lineage maps, and business glossaries in collaboration with stakeholders within the selected function.
  • Support MSC Data Governance organisation with enriching and enhancement of standards, policies, and procedures to assure on-going success of the governance framework within the organisation.
  • Serves as a consultant on business problems, identifies data needs and formulates data solutions, creates practical development roadmaps, and presents recommendations to stakeholders within the function.
  • Drive the development and implementation of data protection and data quality standards across the function by defining performance indicators, quality metrics, ensuring compliance with data-related policies, standards, roles, responsibilities, and adoption requirements.


What you will bring

  • Deep expertise in Data associated with MTI & LogOps as well as strong affinity with systems and system implementations (EDI applied experience is essential for this position)
  • Experience in data analytics, data architecture analysis, optimization, and automation, preferably within a similar function or industry.
  • Knowledgeable in MTI or LogOps processes to ensure seamless end-to-end process adoption.
  • Strong Project Management skills (ideally 7+ years of applied experience) with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage timelines effectively with an ability to drive change with ability to think "outside the box" and introduce new capabilities
  • Strong stakeholder management, cross collaboration and relationship building skills with robust communication skills to articulate the vision of the technology, the region, and the project to various functions.
