Strategist, AnalogFolk


This role reports to the Strategy Director in the US.


What We Need 


- A strategist to develop brand, creative, and channel strategy on key digital or social-first accounts with minimal

oversight

- An optimist who champions creativity and knows great work is just a perspective-shift away.

- A collaborator who creates space at tables for thinking other than her/his own

- A storyteller with strong opinions on what makes a good one

- A proactive problem solver who takes initiative to identify solutions

- An agile, open minded team member who is comfortable working in a startup-like environment


Primary Responsibilities 


- Lead the strategic process from beginning to end on key accounts — managing clients, strategic deliverables, and creative performance/optimization on teams

- Transform brand, audience, industry, and competitive research into provocative insights

- Grasp the opportunities, audiences, and applications of dominant and emerging channels and formats

- Develop brand identities, content pillars, and tentpole moments that inspire creative teams

- Run killer meetings, including client workshops and presentations, research interviews, and creative brainstorms

- Work with and develop relationships with partners in media, ecomm, data, and UX to maximize creative performanceFacilitate strong, strategic decision making with clients and agency team, across projects and process


Past Experience/Qualifications


- 3+ year’s experience working in a similar role at a creative agency, publisher, or in-house product team

- Previous experience developing brand, creative, and channel strategies for various brands

- Track record of uncovering insights that unlock rock-solid strategic visions, and then helping to translate that strategy into impactful creative work

- Previous experience developing and delivering against measurement plansHighly articulate communication skills (verbal and written), and a confident and accomplished presenter

- Experience creating presentations from scratch that effectively visualize your ideas and storytelling

- Fluent in qual and quant research methodologies, from deployment through translation of findings into actions

- Familiar with a wide range of research and intelligence tools and resources
