The Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) at JPMorgan Chase is at the forefront of accelerating the firm's data and analytics journey. The Firmwide Chief Data Office (CDO) plays a pivotal role in maximizing the value and impact of data globally, in a highly governed manner. Our teams focus on accelerating JPMorgan Chase's data, analytics, and AI journey, including data strategy, data impact optimization, privacy, data governance, transformation, and talent.
As a Strategic Execution Director within Firmwide CDO, you will execute a roadmap that delivers new and enhanced products, solutions, operating models, and processes aligned with data across the Firm. You will lead large strategic change programs from initiation through completion, including program planning, requirements analysis, coordination with Product and Technology teams for design, development, and testing, and managing execution and transition/go-live phases. This position plays a critical role in modernizing the Firm's data management and governance practices. The Strategy and Execution team is responsible for defining and articulating the CDO vision and strategy, and executing strategic initiatives to deliver on the CDO roadmap.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic change initiatives end-to-end, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Gather, synthesize, and prioritize requirements from Lines of Businesses, Corporate Functions, and Firmwide stakeholders.
  • Partner with Product and Technology to design solutions and define the product roadmap and deliverables.
  • Develop business cases for strategic programs and secure necessary funding to deliver the roadmap.
  • Communicate the strategic roadmap and priorities to key stakeholders and senior management.
  • Establish governance frameworks to oversee delivery of the strategic roadmap, ensure stakeholder engagement and alignment, and deliver status updates.
  • Program manage large cross-functional teams across the firm and drive accountability with Lines of Businesses, Corporate Functions, and Firmwide stakeholders to deliver expected outcomes.
  • Identify potential roadblocks/emerging risks and escalate issues as needed.
  • Design program success measures and metrics aligned with organizational goals, and communicate progress and related reporting to senior executives.
  • Develop and maintain deep relationships with stakeholders across lines of businesses and functional areas.
  • Lead high-performing strategic execution teams and effectively drive the team towards delivery milestones.
  • Coach other team members and contribute to the wider group's objectives.


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • 10+ years of industry experience.
  • Experience managing strategic or transformational change, or product development.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines and ensure strategic change execution.
  • Ability to build consensus and progress initiatives in a highly collaborative, cross-functional, and matrix environment.
  • Ability to influence people at all levels across a broad variety of functions.
  • Excellent leadership skills in managing programs, projects, teams, and/or employees.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex ideas and challenges succinctly.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related area, or equivalent experience.


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Strong background in data, analytics, or product development.
  • Experience and technical knowledge of data management and governance, big data platforms, or data architecture.
  • MBA and/or advanced degree from a top-tier program.
  • Experience leading design workshops and brainstorming sessions; comfortable with public speaking.
