About the Role

At iCapital the Support Engineering team is crucial for maintaining our services' reliability and being at the forefront of incident response. This role will work closely with the Site Reliability Engineering team and have responsibilities monitoring our systems, responding to alerts, and coordinating initial incident response efforts. This individual will partner with our SRE team to learn and implement top-tier incident management practices while gaining hands-on experience with the latest observability tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in on-call rotations to monitor and respond to technical incidents.
  • Monitor health and performance using New Relic, Prometheus/Grafana, Splunk dashboards.
  • Create and maintain accurate incident data in Jira and Confluence.
  • Support post-incident reviews by gathering relevant data and timeline information.
  • Collaborate with SRE team to improve incident management processes.
  • Help maintain and update runbooks and documentation.
  • Assist in tracking incident metrics and trends.


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in technical support engineering, operations, NOC or similar role
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Experience with or willingness to learn new monitoring tools
  • Familiar with ticketing systems, such as Jira, and documentation platforms like Confluence
  • Experience with DevOps practices is a plus


Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $130,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
