After more than doubling our revenue last year, we closed a Series B round of funding. We are excited to grow the team and take this rocketship to the next level!
Role Overview
We’re hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help build our next-generation web platform using Ruby, PostgreSQL, and Next.js. You’ll work across the stack—from database to API to frontend—delivering user-facing features that are performant, scalable, and thoughtfully designed. This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing team at a critical stage in our journey. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, product, and design to shape the user experience and build the foundation of a platform that supports meaningful long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, ship, and own end-to-end features using Ruby (Rails) on the backend and Next.js (React) on the frontend.
- Design and implement APIs, data models, background jobs, and UIs with extreme performance and usability in mind.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to shape the product roadmap and deliver high-quality user experiences.
- Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code across the stack.
- Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and continuous improvement of our architecture and processes.
- Support production systems—debug issues, improve observability, and contribute to a culture of ownership and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- The ability to ship well crafted technical solutions.
- Comfortable working in a startup environment: wearing multiple hats, working autonomously, and moving quickly.
- A product mindset: you care about the user, not just the code.
- 3+ years of experience in full stack engineering roles.
- Deep knowledge of Ruby (Rails or similar frameworks).
- Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL—writing queries, designing schemas, and optimizing performance.
- Frontend experience using Next.js, React, or a similar component-based JavaScript framework.
- Strong communication skills—able to work cross-functionally and explain complex ideas clearly.
Benefits
- Competitive salary and benefits package
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
- Unlimited PTO and paid holidays
- Monthly Uber Eats Credit
- Industrious or similar co-working membership
- Semi annual team retreats and ad hoc meetups
- An engaging, collaborative, and supportive work environment
