Job Compensation Range
Salary Range: $128,000.00 - $176,000.00
Preferred Primary Location: NY office
The annual pay range reflected above for this position is based on the preferred primary location of the role which is listed in the job description. Salary ranges for other locations vary from the range reflected above. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An annual bonus and equity may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
What You'll Do

Solutions Managers play an instrumental role in designing and delivering fit-for-use real-world data (RWD) solutions that serve our customers needs and developing resources to ensure internal and external partners derive maximum value from it. Sitting within the Client Solutions organization, you will work with cross-functional stakeholders to empower both our internal teams and our pharma clients to derive value from real-world data (RWD) with speed and confidence. You will:
- Manage a portfolio of 4-6 projects in parallel, including real-world data deliverables, while advocating for and prioritizing requests across teams based on comprehensive judgment of trade-offs.
- Design fit-for-purpose RWE solutions for our customers - understanding and breaking down use cases, defining patient cohort selection criteria, aligning on analytic approaches, and setting the right quality bar for cross-functional teams to execute against.
- Partner with Flatiron's Life Sciences team and customers to ensure a clear understanding of customer needs and any additional considerations (e.g., budget, timeline) that may affect solution design.
- Serve as the primary link between technical teams (engineering, product, data sciences, research oncology) and end-users to develop supporting documentation and/or drive solutions for clients.
- Optimize or create new processes to automate repeatable activities and reduce manual work.
- Act as the voice of the end-user across internal functional groups to identify friction points and knowledge gaps.
Who You Are
- You have 5 years minimum experience in a cross-functional setting in one of the following: healthcare consulting, RWD/RWE, CRO/ARO, pharmaceutical industry, operational excellence, or strategic operations.
- You have a knack for "translating" complex concepts for cross-functional audiences, turning technical jargon into clear guidance.
- You possess superb project management skills and are comfortable managing a high volume of tasks in a rapidly evolving environment.
- You are a strategic thinker who recommends improvements and alternative solutions to resolve problems.
- You are comfortable working with or learning platforms such as Jira, Okta, and automation or AI tools.
- Bonus: you know basic SQL or have an interest to learn.
