We deliver personalized, veterinarian-approved meal plans made with real, human-grade ingredients on a subscription basis. As a fast-growing, VC-backed e-commerce startup, we’re solving real-world challenges in pet health, logistics, and customer experience with technology.
Join us this summer for a hands-on, high-impact internship, where you’ll collaborate with experienced engineers, tackle meaningful projects, and gain invaluable experience in a fast-paced, startup environment.
What You’ll Do
Each intern will be paired with a dedicated mentor who will provide guidance, feedback, and support throughout the internship. Your mentor will help you deliver a full end-to-end project, ensuring you gain hands-on experience in real-world software development.
- Build and improve internal tools and customer-facing applications, primarily using React, React Native, and Django
- Work closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to bring ideas to life and enhance user experiences.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, who will provide you feedback in code reviews, helping you deepen your understanding of modern software development best practices.
- Help develop technical documentation and foster knowledge sharing within the team.
- Learn about the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) in a fast-paced startup environment and contribute to agile development processes.
- Keep up with emerging technologies and explore ways to improve our products and systems.
Who You Are
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient in at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, TypeScript etc.).
- Familiar with web development (React, Django, Node.js, or similar frameworks) and backend systems.
- Understanding of databases (SQL vs NoSQL) and API design (REST).
- Passionate about technology and excited to work in an agile, fast-moving startup environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with AWS or Heroku and dog lovers are a plus!
