DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Execute the entire development cycle from defining technical requirements to software design, implementation, production release and maintenance and support. Develop high-quality and stable solutions that meet all the risk, controls, and compliance requirements. Contribute to the product modernization on company's journey to the public cloud. Suggest, prototype, and implement innovative generic and business-specific solutions across a variety of products and platform capabilities such as investable indices pricing, algorithmic trading, and algorithmic hedging. Define, maintain, and promote development standards, and take active role in design and code reviews. Collaborate with the global international team of technical engineers and business stakeholders, and mentor junior developers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field of study plus 6 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer/Developer, IT Consultant, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Linux; Agile SDLC; Application Architecture Disciplines; Data Architecture Disciplines; C++; Python; XML; REST; JSON; Kubernetes; AWS Cloud Services; GIT; Automated Testing; Blackbox Testing; Functional Testing; Manual Testing; Performance Testing; Regression Testing; Smoke Testing; System Integration Testing; Unit Testing; User Acceptance Testing; White Box Testing; Relational Databases; Algo trading; Automatic order execution; FIX protocol; Exchange simulation; and trade and regulatory compliance.
Job Location: 383 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10179. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
Full-Time. Salary: $215,000 - $260,000 per year.
