DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Drive the design, development and implementation of software solutions. Eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems. Work on modernization agenda to move the system towards distributed cloud micro-service architecture. Develop secure and high-quality code to build applications that would be used directly by senior traders. Work closely with project stakeholders to document functional requirements. Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems. Lead communities of practice across software engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies. Understand the roles and responsibilities associated to Product and Agile Transformation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Technical Architect, IT Consultant, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires 5 years of experience with the following: Application Architecture Disciplines with Cloud Based and Native Microservices Architecture; Developing Cloud Microservices using Python and JavaScript; Cloud Postgres database; Building low latency and high throughput applications, including load balancing and auto-scaling; Integration Unit Testing; Cloud optimization and performance tuning; Cloud Functions with activity trigger, entity, orchestrator and client; Building cloud native applications and processes for Azure or AWS Cloud technology; Building and maintaining distributed systems that handle data and transactions; Tackling design and functionality problem using Cloud Watch, Cloud Container Service, and Cloud Container Registry; and in-memory caching using Cloud Remote Dictionary Server technology. Requires 3 years of experience with the following: ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM) Module; Configuration Management database (CMDB); and Trade Finance Domain.

Full-Time. Salary: $179,982 - $215,000 per year.
