Cortina's software allows eCommerce brands to sell complimentary products without increased inventory or capital risk - whether they're looking to create a marketplace of their own or increase their catalog assortment.
We do so by connecting vendors across different eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.) to other sellers on those platforms allowing retailers to diversify their
product offerings.
Our engineering team is expanding rapidly, and we are looking for a Mid-Senior Level Developer to build and oversee a group of engineers to help drive Cortina’s growth.
About the Role
While Cortina is based in New York, NY – this role can be 100% remote.
Requirements
Cortina is a Series A stage company; qualified candidates will be expected to be involved in all
areas of the platform, not limited to: new eCommerce integrations; customer support; and
roadmap creation. Our Tech Stack is JavaScript/Typescript back to front.

- 4+ years in an Engineering Role
- SAAS, eCommerce, and/or marketplace experience required
- Shopify experience or other eCommerce Platforms experience– preferred
- Experience with React, Express, AWS, SQL or similar frameworks/technologies – preferred
- Experience with automated testing, docker, and continuous integration – preferred
- Experience in startup environment involving a growing team and platform - preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- BS or equivalent relevant work experience
