We prioritize not only great technical architecture but also an amazing product experience.</p><b>What You Will Do</b><p>Work within an existing product suite to both build new features, and iterate on existing ones, and multiply the impact of your teammates.</p><ul><li>You’ll work with other engineers to build and own products across a modern tech stack. Our current stack includes React, Relay Modern, TypeScript, GraphQL, Node, and PostgreSQL. We rely on AWS to host our infrastructure.</li><li>You’ll assist in debugging and troubleshooting issues in existing applications, ensuring functionality and performance are optimized.</li><li>You’ll participate in code reviews and testing processes to ensure high-quality software deliverables and improve your coding skills.</li><li>You’ll contribute to project documentation and maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting purposes.</li><li>You’ll make contributions to our engineering practices, identifying and evangelizing improvements to improve our team output.</li><li>You’ll build software to help companies operate efficiently and achieve their goals.</li></ul><b>What You Will Bring to the Table</b><p>You have 2+ years of professional experience writing and maintaining production-level applications.</p><ul><li>You’ve worked with a modern programming language like JavaScript and Typescript, and are well versed in frameworks such as React, Relay and Next.js.</li><li>You know how to make complex components with multiple use-cases, easy to compose and use across a scaling organization</li><li>You understand and promote the benefits of pragmatic testing from the component level to entire pages</li><li>You have worked on design systems or UI framework integration/maintenance, and understand how to build and maintain them, along with the necessary communication to ensure proper and healthy usage</li><li>You seek out the root cause when debugging software defects, and champion improvements that prevent future issues.</li><li>You understand and champion accessibility requirements for modern web development and are passionate about helping every potential user.</li></ul><p>You’re a great communicator and collaborator.</p><ul><li>You take care to write code that your colleagues can also own, understand, and maintain.</li><li>You’re clear and concise in explaining your thought process and in enumerating the tradeoffs made in your work.</li><li>You can work well with designers and product managers to come up with optimal solutions.</li></ul><p>You enjoy taking an active role in the development process.</p><ul><li>You will take care in the details of the implementation.</li><li>You love mentoring and supporting other software engineers who are newer to the industry.</li><li>You have experience taking the lead in planning and executing the development roadmap for software projects.</li></ul><p><em><span >The estimated annual cash salary for this role is $112,000 - $164,500.
