Peloton is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Android Test Engineer to help us deliver flawless Android applications that power our industry-leading fitness experiences.
In this role, you’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure our Android applications meet the highest quality standards. From automated testing to performance optimization, you’ll play a key role in shaping the reliability and usability of our products.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
- Design, develop, and execute test plans to validate Android applications across different devices and OS versions.
- Create, automate, and optimize test cases to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Collaborate with developers to identify, document, and troubleshoot bugs and performance issues.
- Ensure seamless system integration, verifying compatibility across hardware, firmware, and backend services.
- Analyze and report test results, providing key insights on product quality.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing into the development workflow.
- Advocate for best practices in testing, debugging, and performance monitoring.
- Ensure smooth and stable app releases, including over-the-air updates and feature rollouts.
WHAT YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- 3+ years of experience in testing primarily Android applications with overall 5 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of Android OS, system applications, and debugging tools.
- Experience with mobile test automation frameworks (Appium, Espresso, UI Automator, etc.).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions) and version control (Git).
- Hands-on experience with API testing and backend validation.
- Strong analytical skills with a passion for troubleshooting and debugging.
- Ability to work in agile, cross-functional teams.
- Bonus points for Python or Kotlin experience in test automation.
