The Role

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Social Media Coordinator, Apparel, will be responsible for social strategy, production scheduling, channel management, and publishing across all social media channels related to Peloton Apparel. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to formulate a vision and craft content to develop engagement and drive conversion. The Social Media Coordinator, Apparel - will serve as a subject matter expert on social community management and content distribution as it relates to the Apparel business. The right candidate will have deep experience in growing social accounts that support e-commerce, as well as previous experience in fashion, beauty or lifestyle brands.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Develop and implement global social media strategies across all apparel social channels
  • Create a social media content calendar and posting schedule across all platforms in alignment with the apparel marketing calendar
  • Provide leadership and general social strategy insight on apparel campaigns and projects, contributing to the work of the social media team more broadly
  • Manage and build apparel content strategy on TikTok inclusive of TikTok Shops, TikTok Affiliates, and content creation for organic and paid usage. In charge of tactical execution of apparel social strategy including creating content (producing and editing), tagging and copywriting for organic and paid usage
  • Ensure cross functional alignment with e-commerce, merchandising, retail & PR
  • Manage day to day community responses and make sure all direct messages, comments, questions and concerns are answered appropriately and in as real time as possible
  • Identify relevant UGC, editorials and celebrity/influencer posting in real time
  • Stay on top of industry trends and mine opportunities within partnerships, emerging platforms and new product betas

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • Strong understanding of the social media landscape inclusive of platform-specific strategies and standard processes
  • Passionate about Digital Content Trends with knowledge of current and emerging social trends, editorial formats, creators, and platform features, particularly related to retail & apparel
  • Solid eye for the visual manifestation of social content (photography, video, graphics)
  • History of excelling in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple collaborators
  • Strong attention to detail and project management capabilities
  • Ability to develop meaningful, trust-based working relationship with talent
  • You have 3+ years experience in social media, content creation & content publishing
  • 2+ years of experience with social media scheduling tools such as Curalate (Bazaar voice)
  • 2+ years experience working with Instagram Shops and Tik Tok Shops
  • 2+ years of relevant social marketing, community management or influencer experience - in house or at an agency
  • You have strong experience with short form editing software, preferably adobe premiere or Davinci resolve
  • Graphic design experience using Adobe suite - preferably in Photoshop & Illustrator
  • You can provide examples of your work (an account you run, a demo reel or links of video’s you’ve produced)
  • Must be NYC based with the ability to travel to office, apparel photoshoots and social shoots
  • Must have background in ecommerce/retail; fashion, beauty and lifestyle experience preferred
  • Must have a keen interest in fashion, style, beauty and fashion blogging
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including refined presentation skills
  • Expertise with social media measurement tools and reporting

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes. Base Salary Range

$69,500$90,400 USD
