About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced SEO Content Manager with a background in financial services to join our team. As the Content Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our SEO and editorial strategies within the financial industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEO strategy and optimization, SEO writing coupled with excellent project management skills and effective communication within cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
SEO Strategy and Optimization

  • Conduct thorough keyword research and mapping within the financial industry to inform content creation and updates.
  • Develop and implement SEM content strategies specific to financial services to improve the company's search engine rankings.
  • Devise optimization strategies to enhance the overall visibility of the company's digital assets within the financial sector.
  • Research SEO keywords related to financial services and integrated them strategically throughout the website and marketing materials.
  • Generate weekly original SEO-targeted articles, monitor and revise existing content to ensure it stays relevant, continues to rank and update accordingly, including hands-on writing of blogs, articles, ebooks, and other website pages.
  • Stay up to date with key competitors and industry trends to suggest opportunities and improvements.


Editorial Planning and Strategy

  • Develop and maintain an editorial calendar to guide content creation efforts within the financial services sector.
  • Manage a team of writers and content creators, copy-edit articles, delegate tasks, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality financial content.
  • Craft compelling content specific to financial services, including emails, social media copy, and research reports.[IF4]
  • Collaborate on graphic design (infographics, research reports), landing pages, PR releases, video production, and other multimedia content relevant to financial services.


Analytics

  • Utilize analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SEM Rush, and other SEO tools to inform strategy, track and analyze financial content performance.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize financial content strategies.


Project Management & Communication

  • Utilize project management tools such as Asana to organize and track financial content creation projects, including setting deadlines, managing editorial deliverables.
  • Demonstrate strong and effective communication skills, especially when collaborating within a cross-functional team in the financial industry.
  • Facilitate communication between writers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure a unified approach to financial content creation.


Requirements

  • Background in journalism or content marketing within the financial services sector is preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of SEO strategies and best practices.
  • Excellent SEO writing and copy-editing skills including long and short format content such as articles, email, eBooks, and other content formats.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple projects.
