Job Summary
We are looking for a data guru who, as a Senior Product Manager, can play an instrumental role in defining the future of adtech identity at FreeWheel. The successful candidate will use their analytical skills to infer critical insights from large data sets, defining and refining strategy as the Identity landscape evolves. As a Senior Product Manager, you will work closely with Product, Partnerships, Customer Support, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Data Science, and Engineering teams to provide strategic clarity that unifies and inspires the team to deliver meaningful results to our buy and sell-side customers. You will lead strategic projects to measure the health of our integrations, run exploratory data projects to find new opportunities, and deliver product features to the market. Responsible for managing the pricing, packaging and documenting new products ideas and conducts user need analyses for ancillary products so that subscriber and financial objectives are achieved. Conducts the budgeting, planning, analysis and monitoring required to ensure unit and financial targets are met for assigned products. Manages ongoing product management of new and existing products. This job is an individual contributor role that does not have direct responsibility for supervision or performance management of staff.
Job Description
MUST HAVE:

  • 2-3 years of experience working on and with identity products in AdTech
  • 5-7 years of experience in data analysis and developing insights & recommendations from data
  • Highly analytical and curious, with the ability to use Python and SQL


Core Responsibilities

  • Internalizes and represents the Voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle. Coordinates across other functional areas to secure buy-in to deliver on the defined end-to-end customer experience.
  • Performs competitive analysis and conducts market research. Maintains updated view of key competitive changes.
  • Teams with product development to deliver high quality products on time.
  • Participates in the strategic planning for enhancements to product content, pricing, packaging and features. Participate in defining product business and functional requirements.
  • Assists in budgeting and variance analysis of product's unit and financial performance, with goal of identifying opportunities and risks.
  • Drafts and manages requirements and other supporting business documentation (such as use cases, possibly M&Ps (methods and procedures), executive summaries etc.).
  • Leads concepts defining an end-to-end customer experience and expected full lifecycle costs.
  • Contributes to the product vision across team and the organization.
  • Conducts feasibility assessments, capability gap analysis (i.e., what is wanted vs. what is attainable).
  • Manage change requests. Validates downstream deliverables and final offering (business acceptance testing).
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Work closely with the product, partnerships, customer service, data science, and engineering teams to provide a data-driven perspective on challenges and opportunities.
  • Define desired business outcomes by crafting insights from the analysis on trillions of records
  • Become an expert at Real-Time-Bidding systems, the data generated, what it means, and how the data can be used to create meaningful insights.
  • Become an expert on how Identity data is used across FreeWheel platforms to power the business of the largest premium video buyers and sellers.
  • Be a member and learn from the world-class FreeWheel product team.


Who You Are:

  • 2-3 years of experience working on and with identity products in adtech
  • 5-7 years of experience in data analysis and developing insights & recommendations from data
  • Highly analytical and curious, with the ability to use Python and SQL to interrogate large data sets to elicit the signal from the noise
  • A bias to action to create clarity in ambiguous situations
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills to formulate and articulate contractual, technical, financial, and value points with partners and internal product and sales teams
  • Relationship builder who can build deep, long-term, trusted partnerships

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $149,026.68 - $223,540.03
