Brigit is looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Product Designer to join our growing team. As a Senior Product Designer you will work as part of a cross-functional team, including product managers, engineers, and data analysts, to translate user needs and business goals into intuitive and visually compelling designs.   • Work across the entire product lifecycle: from opportunity assessment, discovery, design solutioning, hypothesis validation, build and learn

  • Advocate for the user and evangelize user experience throughout the organization

  • Participate as a member of a cross-functional product team, working closely with Product Managers and Engineers in an Agile environment to define product strategy and data-informed solutions. Leverage patterns and solutions of existing Design System and contribute to its refinement and iterations when needed

  • Foster a positive culture within the product team, demonstrating endurance, grit, and persistence to overcome challenges

  • Provide and seek feedback from other designers to always push the bar for quality

  • Commitment to financial wellness for everyday Americans

  • 5+ years of product design experience in a technology company including B2C mobile experience

  • An innate ability to create user-centric designs by considering data, user feedback and research, product requirements, and technical constraints/opportunities.

  • Strong aptitude for performing and synthesizing research, including contextual inquiry, generative and evaluative research 

  • Great understanding of Lean product development methodologies and how design decisions impact overall product goals

  • Capable of collaborating in a team environment, actively exploring and promoting new ideas, including those proposed by others

  • Ability to thrive with ambiguity and tight deadlines and work independently

  • History of collaborating with product, engineering, customer service, and marketing teams to shape the product design

  • Exceptional communication skills with a demonstrated ability to present designs and explain design decisions effectively to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Excellent visual design skills with deep understanding of aesthetic usability and pixel-perfect practice. Experience of writing compelling UX copy is a plus

  • A top-notch design portfolio, demonstrating outstanding visual, process, outcomes, and your direct contribution

  • Expertise with Figma

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $130,000 - $155,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits for which an individual may be eligible. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
