• Create Animations for Various Touchpoints: Develop compelling animations for social media, product marketing, event branding, on-stage graphics, and explainer videos. Ensure animations are consistent with the brand’s visual language and effectively communicate the desired message
• Collaborate with Marketers and Product Teams: Work closely with marketers and product personnel to translate complex ideas into engaging motion graphics. Distill technical and abstract concepts into clear, visually compelling animations
• Video Editing and Enhancement: Edit video content, including live-action footage. Add branded intros, lower thirds, and other motion elements to enhance video presentations and align them with brand guidelines
• Bring Static Designs to Life: Collaborate directly with graphic designers to animate static designs, infusing them with dynamic elements. Independently develop styleframes, storyboards, animatics, and final compositions to guide the motion design process
• Define Motion Design Principles: Establish and document motion design principles that align with the brand identity. Develop scalable and replicable motion systems for future marketing campaigns and product lines

• 5+ Years of Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in motion graphics design, with a portfolio that demonstrates a strong command of animation techniques and visual storytelling
• Educational Background: BA/BS in Graphic Design, Animation, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree is a plus
• Industry Experience: Experience in the Crypto/Web3 space is highly advantageous
• Software Mastery: Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere. High-level skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, vector animation, and Lottie are essential. Experience with 3D tools like Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya, Houdini, and Redshift is a significant plus
• Familiarity with Advanced Tools: Knowledge of processing tools such as Cavalry and TouchDesigner is a bonus. Web animation experience, including Webflow, is also beneficial
• Strong Design Fundamentals: Deep understanding of fundamental design concepts, including motion theory, typography, color theory, and composition. Ability to articulate design thinking clearly
• Visual Narrative Skills: Ability to develop visual narratives and conceptual strategies that support design decisions. Translate scripts into high-end animations, elevating the original brief through creative insight
• Project Management Proficiency: Experience using project management tools such as Notion and Slack to manage projects efficiently and meet deadlines
• Effective Communication and Presentation Skills: Strong ability to present motion design work to non-creatives, articulating the rationale behind creative choices and gaining buy-in from stakeholders
• Collaboration and Feedback: Work directly with other designers, creative directors, and marketers to provide and receive constructive feedback. Foster a collaborative environment that enhances the creative process

Salary Range: $119,200 to $148,800
