The Senior Manager, External Manufacturing, Ventures is responsible for service performance, capacity and continuity of Supply across the External Manufacturing (EM) network. Overseeing and execution of the External Manufacturing production plans aligned with attainment and Compliance to Schedule metrics; Long Range Plan validation and ensuring sufficiency within the EM network; priority setting to meeting Mondelēz demand requirements, External Manufacturing performance reviews with our external partners so that we grow and succeed together. This role is a key contact interface and escalation point between Mondelēz and our external manufacturing partners.
The key part of this role will be driving the performance within the External Network to ensure our customer needs and the Mondelēz NA Strategy is delivered while being the single point of contact for assigned sites. This will require working end-to-end to ensure clarity of requirements, transparency of expectations and effective execution across the EM network.
This role will partner with the NA Planning, Procurement, Quality, BD, CS&L, EM Finance and R&D to ensure seamless execution of production and to support the needs of our customers. This role will have strong relationships and ways of working with our External Manufacturers as a natural extension of our own internal Supply Chain network.
How you will contribute
- LRP (Long Range Plan) - Alignment with EM and available capacity to support the medium and long-term demand plans. Working with planning and partnering with the EM to review capacity models, asset availability and labor requirements.
- Locking and execution of the production schedule to meet customer needs and service performance commitments (Attainment and CTS). Ensuring the plans are optimized and aligned between Mondelēz planning and the external partners.
- Performance Reviews - Report EM weekly and monthly service performance with key loss drivers. Understanding the losses and performance opportunities around service, waste, GE as well as reviewing the forward sufficiency to support the future needs. Working end to end to prioritize and establish action plans. With solid execution to drive performance towards best-in-class levels. Prioritization and issue resolution. Including incremental cost (i.e. OT, MOQ, etc), line conflicts, capacity unlocking, mitigating demand fluctuations, alternate production options.
- EM communication and stakeholder management - both internally and externally partnering with the EM team to review, execute and update progress and opportunities against the EM Strategy
- Drive and implement Venture BU integration actions within the EM network to create one Mondelēz EM network. Will require influencing cross functional internal and external parties to new ways of working to meet business needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree is required in Business, Operations Management, Planning, Logistics or other Related Fields
- 8 or more years of work experience
- 3 or more years of Plant Operations Leadership
- 3 or more years of experience Engineering, Production or Research & Development
- Planning and / or CS&L experience
- Experience with using SAP or equivalent system would be ideal

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $114,500 to $157,475; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. The salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
