Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Retail Servicing Applications team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-level software using .NET, Angular, OpenShift, and SQL.

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications for retail banking servicing.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.

  • Optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.

  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end applications.

  • Manage containerized applications using OpenShift and ensure smooth deployment pipelines.

  • Write complex SQL queries and optimize database performance.

  • Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and mentor junior engineers.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across the stack.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the tech stack.

Education and Experience Required:

Minimum of an Associate’s degree and 6 years’ systems analysis/application development experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 8 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 6 years’ systems analysis/application development experience

Proven experience with .NET + Angular

Education and Experience Preferred:

Good understanding of the Bank’s application framework

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $110,635.01 - $184,391.68 Annual (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
