The Role

Datadog is seeking a Senior Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Program Manager to implement solutions and initiatives that foster a diverse and inclusive working environment for Datadogs worldwide. In this role, you will be focused on embedding DEI into hiring and retention practices to support the growth and success of our diverse workforce across the organization. With key partnerships with People Operations, Recruitment, Employer Brand, People Business Partners, and senior leadership, you will assess opportunities, provide data-driven insights to inform actions, and work to drive meaningful change. This role requires a high level of expertise in data analysis and program management, with a flexible and agile approach.
This is an individual contributor position reporting into the Senior Director of Internal Communications and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and implement internal process improvements and programs that foster inclusive hiring and retention.
  • Establish inclusive hiring objectives and drive project plans in support of enabling recruiting leadership.
  • Connect and influence cross-functional DEI partners across the business to share program updates, drive change, and advise on actions.
  • Communicate DEI programming progress, reinforce accountability, and share recommendations.
  • Analyze data to provide insights and reporting for strategic decision-making that impacts hiring and promotion, measures program impact, and ensures compliance.
  • Establish benchmarks and metrics to ensure effectiveness of DEI programming
  • Support the broader DEI team with projects as needed, demonstrating strong collaboration skills and stakeholder management.


Who You Are:

  • 8+ years of experience across Recruiting, People, and / or DEI roles, preferably with experience in fast growing technology companies.
  • A passionate DEI subject matter expert with a proven track record of driving impactful DEI initiatives in complex organizations, ideally in a rapidly scaling tech company.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into strategies, with experience in preparing reports and presentations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Experienced in communicating and rolling-out changes; shaping, running and measuring programs.
  • Project management experience and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of diversity recruiting best practices and compliance requirements.

Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Datadog offers a wide range of best in class, comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits for this role including healthcare, dental, parental planning, and mental health benefits, a 401(k) plan and match, paid time off, fitness reimbursements, and a discounted employee stock purchase plan.

$124,000 - $182,000 USD
