The Role

What You'll Do:

  • Manage, grow and evolve corporate social media channels
  • Responsible for the execution and delivery of social media content and engagement
  • Develop and roll-out the content and social strategy for our corporate, employee and thought leadership marketing efforts
  • Conduct editorial planning process and content calendar development
  • Promote and steward the overarching social strategy with internal partners across the organization to ensure efforts remain on-brand
  • Develop global social and influencer strategy and engagement plan
  • Own and manage social review processes across all channels to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Work in Jira and with partners and teams
  • Monitor for competitive and negative sentiment and create strategy for addressing
  • Drive internal employee engagement so that anyone can be a Datadog brand advocate


Who You Are:

  • An experienced, data-driven marketing professional with 6+ years of experience in social media
  • Have hands-on experience in social media within B2B environments, (enterprise technology landscape e.g. API Management, APM, Cloud Security, DevOps etc. is a plus)
  • Able to lead through influence by establishing strong, collaborative relationships across executive, product and marketing leaders
  • Compelling written and oral communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to impeccably edit social content
  • Experience with social media publishing, listening and analytics tools
  • Ability to turn social measurement into insights to create relevant, data-backed reports used to determine recommendations and strategy

Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. The reasonably estimated yearly salary for this role at Datadog is:
$123,750 - $165,000 USD
