As a Senior Business Developer, your primary responsibility will be to create and develop new business opportunities while expanding our customer base. You will execute sales strategies that align with industry-specific plans and company goals. This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone with a strong hunting mindset who combines strategic thinking with a focus on acquiring new clients and building lasting relationships.

Location: USA exclusively

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactive Client Acquisition: Act as a hunter by identifying and targeting potential clients to expand our customer base.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement aggressive, effective sales strategies to acquire new clients and meet revenue goals.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscapes, and untapped business opportunities.
  • Relationship Building: Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders, with a focus on new business development.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and support growth initiatives.
  • Event Participation: Help the sales team identify key conferences or industry spaces where the company should participate.
  • CRM Reporting: Regularly report progress using the company CRM (Salesforce), ensuring accurate tracking of sales activities.
  • Industry Strategy Support: Work closely with industry heads (Healthcare, Fintech, Food and Beverage, and AgTech) to nurture their strategies.
  • Collaboration with Marketing & Delivery: Partner with marketing and delivery teams to ensure consistent messaging and service offerings.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track key performance metrics and monitor sales performance, adapting and optimizing sales processes using Agile principles.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and closing of deals.
  • Forecasting & Planning: Implement sales forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes to support strategic goals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the Software Services Industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or growth.
  • Strong understanding of the software development industry, trends, and competition.
  • Track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales/marketing tools.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with effective project management skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking abilities with prospects and clients.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Public Relations, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
