About The Role:
We're seeking a senior backend engineer who's passionate about building scalable, high-performance systems that power cutting-edge AI applications. You'll be at the forefront of developing the robust backend infrastructure that enables EVA to revolutionize enterprise data workflows. In this role, you will:

• Design and implement scalable backend systems that form the core of our AI-driven platform.
• Develop high-performance APIs and services that handle complex data processing and analysis.
• Optimize database operations and data flows to ensure seamless performance at scale.
• Collaborate with frontend and AI-focused roles to integrate backend systems with user interfaces and AI models.
• Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive enterprise data.
• Continuously improve system architecture to meet evolving business needs and technological advancements.

This role might be perfect for you if:

• You bring 5+ years of experience as a backend engineer with a proven track record of building scalable, high-performance systems.
• Your expertise lies in Go and Python, with experience in developing large-scale applications.
• You have a strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud technologies, and microservices architecture.
• You're experienced with both SQL and NoSQL database technologies and comfortable with data processing at scale.
• You're passionate about writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and you're excited about pushing the boundaries of AI in enterprise applications.
• You have a deep understanding of system design principles and can architect solutions that balance performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Bonus/Nice To Haves:

• Experience with graph and vector databases
• Understanding of / experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architecture and the broader GenAI landscape
• Understanding of machine learning and AI concepts, specifically in data analysis and forecasting
• Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of security best practices for handling sensitive enterprise data
