The Branch Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily operations, ensuring efficient processes, and providing excellent service to clients. The Girls Who Code (GWC) Development Team is searching for a systems-minded and relationship-savvy Senior Associate of Partner Engagement to support the team in meeting its fundraising goals. 

 

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Partner Engagement, the Senior Associate supports the team’s renewal fundraising goals by managing an assigned portfolio of partnerships and providing teamwide support as needed.

In this role, you foster relationships with partners across GWC programs and initiatives to increase partner satisfaction, renewal rate, and revenue growth. You also support select teamwide and cross-functional projects that advance existing team strategy.

 

The successful candidate has stakeholder or client management experience, a commitment to using systems to work efficiently, and experience executing on team strategy to drive projects forward. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are driven by collaboration and continuous learning. You can work with minimal manager guidance across multiple projects without losing sight of the small details. Responsibilities:

    • Own a portfolio of corporate partners, track key milestones and deliverables, and support renewal conversations in partnership with the Senior Manager of Partner Engagement.

    • Maintain accurate partnership records in CRM and internal systems, tracking renewal pipelines and flagging risks or opportunities.

    • Coordinate with internal teams to execute partner benefits and ensure partnership commitments are delivered on time.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with partner contacts to support engagement, satisfaction, and long-term renewal.

      • Create tailored written materials including internal briefing documents, concept notes, proposals, and partnership reports.

      • Draft and execute partner communications campaigns and engagement touchpoints, including quarterly updates and renewal reminders.

      • Serve as project manager for select Partner Engagement initiatives, coordinating within Development and cross-functionally to advance team priorities.

      • Support portfolio management across the team through benefits execution, proposal development, report drafting, partner communications, briefing materials, and tracking deliverables.

      • Monitor trends in corporate philanthropy and industry partnerships and share insights that inform partner engagement and stewardship practices.

      • Identify opportunities to strengthen partner engagement and improve internal processes, templates, and workflows.

      • Gather partner feedback and engagement insights to help inform renewal planning and stewardship approaches.

Requirements include:

    • 2–3 years of relevant experience, such as nonprofit development, corporate partnerships, sales, or account management.

    • Strong accountability to deadlines, deliverables, and fundraising goals.

    • Experience using CRM or project management systems to track partnerships, deliverables, or fundraising pipelines.

    • Strong written communication skills, including drafting partner-facing materials.

    • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and collaborating with stakeholders across teams and levels.

    • Proactive working style with the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and take initiative on new responsibilities.

    • Ability to adjust priorities and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

    • Interest in computer science, technology, education, or the nonprofit sector preferred.
