Senior Accountant - Freelance

This is a contract Senior Accountant role.  The role will report directly to the Controller. The finance team enables the company to run successfully and efficiently. 

What You Will Do

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations for Work & Co US, including, but not limited to accounts payable, cash management, general ledger.
•  Manage month-end close processes by maintaining accurate and complete financial records.  This includes, but not limited to, closing of US books, balance sheet reconciliations, P&L review, and revenue recognition.
• Maintain the weekly cash flow forecast.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
• Streamline data uploads by managing .csv files for payroll, benefits, and bank activity, ensuring accuracy and efficiency for large-scale entries.
• Efficiently handle bulk data entries

We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience as an accounting manager or similar role
• Thorough knowledge of US GAAP, CPA preferred
• Previous experience with NetSuite is required!
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
• Organizational and analytical skills
• Good problem-solving and time management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication across all levels of an organization
• Passion for working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to anticipate needs and prioritize tasks.
