We are seeking an experienced Systems Security Engineer, who enjoys information security work and possesses both deep and wide expertise to help enhance our capabilities across our global enterprise. Our technology Stack includes hybrid cloud / on-premises environments and diverse technology and security technology baselines. Domains of focus include Identity and Access Management (IAM) and/or Security Operations.

  • Engineer, implement, automate, and monitor security measures for protecting our computer systems, networks, and information.
  • Monitor SIEM and other event sources, assess, prioritize, escalate and manage security alerts.
  • Perform analysis of security, network database and application logs, correlate events and activities to create threat scenarios in order to get ahead of threat actors and reduce the exposure.
  • Translate threat intelligence into actionable security across tools such as firewall, IPS and malware detection across multiple security vendor platforms.
  • Develop Incident Response (IR) automation and integrations for technologies. Provide guidance for migrating from legacy processes to automated solutions.
  • Develop and integrate APIs to enable the creation of orchestrated workflows within our InfoSec platforms.
  • Lead in deploying new solutions and technologies to improve the security posture of the company.
  • Assist to automate IAM processes such as user provisioning, de-provisioning, access requests, and role management. Advance security operations technologies and processes through automation and integration of threat detection, protection solutions, and IAM processes.
  • Follow proper engineering and integration lifecycles (design, create, test, document, integrate, monitor, maintain) for automation efforts.
  • Assist in enhancing the security posture of the platform infrastructure through automation at scale

  • Proven work experience as a systems security engineer or Information Security Engineer.
  • 2 years+ experience working with Security Operations Centres (SOCs), Incident Response teams, Cyber Threat Intelligence functions, and other cyber defence roles.
  • Prefer experience with IAM processes and tools, including user provisioning, de-provisioning, access management, and role-based access control.
  • Working experience with SOAR practices including playbook development, data and artifact collection, process automation, technology orchestration, and response actions.
  • Technical knowledge and working experience with the TCP/IP stack and common IT server platforms and application services: Directory Services, Windows, Linux, Tomcat, Oracle, SQL Server, Kafka, Redis.
  • Knowledge of development and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Java, JavaScript, .NET, Bash, Perl, PHP).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States permanently without employment visa sponsorship required now or in the future

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity technology domains including IAM/IGA, SIEM, Network Security, Cloud Security, Endpoint Security, Application Security, and Security Operations.
  • Knowledge of Endpoint Detection and Response tools (e.g., Carbon Black, CrowdStrike).
  • Knowledge of networking essentials, data flows, architecture, and protocols including wired, wireless, and cloud networking concepts.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and strategies for securing cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Knowledge of APIs and web services (REST, JSON, SOAP, WSDL, XML/SPML).
  • Knowledge IAM tools and technologies such as Okta, Azure AD, SailPoint, or similar platforms.
  • Python and PowerShell development experience

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $110,000 USD to $165,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
