The Role



We’re seeking a skilled Salesforce Administrator to join our team and play a key role in developing and implementing technology solutions that power our Meetings and Workplace product offerings. We are looking for someone with a good understanding of the Salesforce platform, who can understand both our current setup and our business objectives, and can quickly identify areas of improvement. You’ll be collaborating with our agile team of system administrators, developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure we are delivering high-value solutions to our internal teams and clientele. 

In this role, you will partner with our Senior Salesforce Administrator and report directly to the Director of Engineering. 

This role is remote, however, the candidate must reside in either the NYC or London Metro Areas and be available to come onsite for team meetings occasionally. The candidate must also be able to work without sponsorship.

 

  • Design, implement, and support solutions for Convene’s Salesforce instance and integrations with other core business systems: ie. Hubspot, Docusign, GetFeedback, Nexudus, and Sage
  • Automate business reporting and conduct ad-hoc reporting for our executive teams – i.e. Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Technology teams
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, digital product, and engineering teams to plan, create, and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Continuously create and update technical documentation of current system setup, including custom objects, fields, flows, validation rules, and security configurations.
  • Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed
  • Work with fellow Salesforce administrators and Developers in agile sprints
  • Implement Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, dashboards and reports
  • Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement and other departments to develop comprehensive training materials and user documentation.

  • 3+ Years of Salesforce experience required (Sales Cloud experience is a must)
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (required)
  • Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant) are a plus
  • Experience working in hospitality and/or coworking solution industries preferred
  • Ability to translate requirements into scalable, best-practice technical solutions
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Salesforce's declarative capabilities, including but not limited to: Flow, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, custom settings, dashboards and reports, and change management and governance
  • Understanding of database principles and best practices, and can construct SOQL statements (if needed)
  • Experience working with scrum is a plus

  • Well-versed in Salesforce configuration and administration
  • Data-oriented, organized, and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, and able to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with various departments on integrative projects
  • Comfortable explaining technical and business-driven processes, analyses, and recommendations to executives and non-technical teams as you are discussing technical trade-offs with engineers
  • You take ownership of projects and drive them to completion

Base Salary:

Salary Min: $85,000  Salary Max: $95,000 

This role is also eligible for Convene's annual incentive performance bonus plan.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
