Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Sales Operations Intern to join our dynamic Sales Operations team. This internship provides a unique opportunity for students interested in gaining insights into sales strategy, deal management, commission structures, and territory alignment while contributing to ongoing operational improvements at Boomi.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Support: Assist in analyzing sales data and performance metrics to help refine and improve sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Deal Desk Operations: Support the deal desk team in reviewing and processing sales deals, ensuring compliance with company policies and accurate documentation.
  • Commission Analysis: Collaborate with the sales team to understand commission structures and assist in calculating commissions based on sales performance and agreements.
  • Territory Management: Help with territory analysis to ensure effective allocation of accounts among sales representatives and optimize sales coverage.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Assist in preparing regular reports and dashboards to communicate sales performance, deal statuses, and key insights to stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving sales operations processes and contribute to the development of best practices.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and other departments to support alignment and enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with a basic understanding of sales operations concepts and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn about sales operations and strategy.
