Outerspace provides dynamic services including, but not limited to, warehousing and fulfillment, customization and light manufacturing, and product photography.
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Solutions Engineer to join our growing team. The Sales Engineer will provide holistic technical and operational support to the Sales team. This highly collaborative role will work closely within and across departments to execute the vision and craft scalable solutions for the Sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure strategy for client enhances Outerspace’s productivity, aligns with Outerspace’s processes, aligns with client’s needs and where possible establishes new revenue streams.
- Become a student of Outerspace’s capabilities, as well as the market’s needs to properly inform potential clients and improve Outerspace’s offering.
- Prepare inputs to pricing model for potential clients including inbound and outbound data, storage methods, picking type, UPHs, etc.
- Assist in completion of RFI and RFP requests.
- Through comprehensive understanding of freight program create freight modeling for potential clients based on provided data and requirements.
- Create modeling for existing clients as freight program changes or new features are added.
- Ensure strategy meets IT, Ops and Finance requirements and is optimal set up for Outerspace and client.
- Ensure all SOPs and requirements of client are preapproved by IT, Finance and Ops prior to finalization of contract or pricing. Pre-approve launch timing with Integrations.
- Work with members of the Commercial team to support successful integrations and launches.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business related field required
- At least two years relevant experience, which should include experience in fulfillment and/or freight services, and pricing structure.
- Understanding of full life cycle sales including lead generation, lead qualification, outreach, through to deal closing required.
