ABOUT THE ROLE:

A progressive mental health care practice, backed by science and experts in psychiatry and behavioral health, is seeking a Sales Lead, Provider Partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building strategic partnerships - developing and growing our provider referral program, working either in our New York City office or in a hybrid capacity.

 

You will:

  • Report to the President & SVP, Marketing and collaborate to set business development goals and objectives in alignment with the company’s vision and mission.
  • Identify, build relationships and onboard providers and practices into our provider referral program who can help drive patient acquisition through ongoing patient referrals.
  • Arrange and conduct sales meetings with prospective referring providers via calls, in person meetings at their offices or at ours; leverage learnings to develop our strategy for onboarding referring providers and ensuring ongoing referrals.
  • Collaborate with SVP, Marketing to develop a services overview decks for potential referring providers that outline our offerings, differentiators and collaborative approach.
  • Collaborate with SVP, Marketing to conduct market research, develop sales strategies, partner services and retention plans, and analyze sales data to inform or update provider marketing strategies, when needed by Leadership.
  • Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference materials, and other documents as required.
  • Assist in developing marketing and sales strategies for referring providers to help grow the business in conjunction with the SVP, Marketing and Leadership team, and collaborate cross-functionally to implement.
  • Help to identify new business opportunities, clients, products, services, and lines of business in conjunction with Leadership.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with new referring providers, while maintaining and deepening existing referring provider relationships.
  • Collate and maintain partner information in our CRM database.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in business development or sales, with at least 3+ years in the healthcare or wellness industry.
  • Existing strong network of healthcare (physicians) and mental health (psychotherapists) contacts, primarily in New York.
  • Track record of building relationships and driving patient acquisition / sales via cold outreach.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-management skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and partners.
  • Results-driven with an ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.

We consider an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final compensation. The expected base salary for this position is $65,000 - 85,000/year with OTE at $108,000 - 140,000. The exact offer will be commensurate with qualifications and years of experience.
