As a Sales Engineer You Will:

Manage the ‘develop the solution’ phase of the sales process. This spans discovery, workshops, demos, solution design and business case. We interface with executives on strategy; functional leaders around understanding and improving their current processes; and IT teams around integration and security. In short, we unlock transformational value for banks and credit unions by building the bridge from business goals to value realization.

Given the accelerating pace of digitization and disruption in our target markets, this role is key to MANTL’s continued market growth.

About You:

  • You serve as trusted advisor to prospective customers. We bring a consultant mindset to the role, advise buyers on business process transformation, and inspire trust and credibility.
  • You partner with AEs to deliver a consultative, value-based sale. We develop and deliver customer-facing presentations including demos, solution proposal, business case (including ROI) and rollout plan.
  • You build a shared vision with prospective customers. We are compelling storytellers who take pride in showing potential customers the art of the possible. This includes more conventional elements, such as custom proof of concept configured demos, but we are always seeking innovative new ways to better tell our story, particularly with data.
  • You analyze and apply data. We understand how execs think - their value drivers, the KPIs they care about - and apply this understanding in sales cycles. As expert advisors, we analyze customer data to uncover insights and develop recommendations.
  • You collaborate cross functionally with other orgs, particularly Product, Product Marketing, Account Management and Implementation.
  • You get the technical win. We work with IT to secure their sign off and align on integration requirements. This includes a high level understanding of Core/middleware integration and SSO. No scripting experience is required. However, development or integration experience is a plus.
  • You own the RFP process through working closely with AE’s and cross functional teams to curate and refine RFP responses, ensuring prospects receive the most up to date information.
  • You become a Subject Matter Expert by developing deep expertise in a designated are of our product or process to serve as the point person for specific functionality and enhancements.

We Are Looking For:

  • 5+ years of Enterprise pre-sales experience or equivalent customer-facing experience.
  • You have experience selling software or cloud based solutions to banks & financial institutions. You understand the unique challenges and needs of financial institutions and can navigate complex sales cycles.
  • You are experienced with commercial banking processes, ideally including business account opening, loan origination, or related banking solutions.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Suite Products, and Salesforce.
  • You can help drive a strong Sales Engineering framework, collaborating with leadership to refine and build out processes that enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • You are comfortable delivering compelling presentations and demonstrations in both physical on-sites and virtual settings.

What We Offer:

  • MANTL offers competitive compensation package including base salary, bonus & benefits. Base salary for this role is $160,000, though this is subject to change based on performance and market conditions.
  • Remote-first environment
  • 401(k) with employer match,
  • Unlimited PTO.
  • Creative and fun team-building events (improv, chocolate and wine tasting, happy hours)
  • Mental health and wellness programs
  • And more!
