Summary:
The Revenue Accountant will play a key role in maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and supporting the finance team. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter, with a strong understanding of accounting principles, and be capable of handling various financial tasks with precision and integrity.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Revenue Recognition
o Review and approve all new and revised IO’s in Salesforce
o Ensure all required documentation is uploaded for each campaign .
o Update and adjust all revenue to comply with US GAAP for revenue recognition.
o Reconcile and provide reporting to all required departments at the end of each month.
o Assist in the completion of revenue share by researching any discrepancies in NetSuite versus TIM (scheduling).
o Manage programmatic revenue streams through daily monitoring and maintenance of the Exchange platform, ensuring timely updates for the primary provider and monthly submissions for smaller providers.
· Billing
o Create all invoices in NetSuite, verify all required information is on invoices per media requirements. Which includes electronic sending of all invoices to the client.
o Reconcile unbilled, accrued, and deferred amounts and post required end of month adjustments.
· Fixed Assets
o Reconcile GL to Fixed Asset module.
o Maintain Fixed Asset reconciliation workbook for audit requirements.
o Run the monthly depreciation process in NetSuite.
o Provide reporting as necessary to Controller.
· Month-End Closing
o Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
· Accounts Receivable
o Monitor accounts receivables, follow up on outstanding invoices with clients.
o Assist Accounting Specialist on allocation of payments if adjustments needed.
o Inform and assist salespeople when clients go beyond payment terms.
o Process any credit card payments following GSTV process and inform Accounting Specialist upon completion with required information.
· Compliance and Auditing
o Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
o Support external auditors during annual audits and internal audits as needed.
· Reconciliation
o Reconcile bank statements and intercompany accounts.
o Investigate and resolve discrepancies and issues.
Requirements:

· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
o Experience in Salesforce preferred.

· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Effective communication and teamwork skills.
· Prior experience in accounting or finance is a plus.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree as well as 2-5 years in accounting, finance, or a related field, with significant amount of time spent in all aspects of accounting.
