Skillsoft is seeking a Regional Vice President, Enterprise Customer Growth Sales (RVP).

The RVP will lead and develop a high performing sales team to drive top-line revenue growth through the growth of our Enterprise customer segment.

Recruit, lead and develop a team that will grow our Enterprise account base, applying a hunter mentality with a strategic, solution-selling approach.

This requires needs-based, relationship sales to a diverse spectrum of industries. This individual will have a track record of leading teams to over-quota achievement and will lead and develop a team focused on growing an ambitious pipeline of business.

This will require the ability to navigate through complex organizations and sell to multiple decision-makers, including the “C Suite”.

  • Lead a team to drive top-line revenue growth through growth of existing Enterprise customer base.
  • Lead a team selling Skillsoft Talent Development solutions directly to corporate decision makers.
  • Lead a team to partner with Specialist reps on cross-sell opportunities.
  • Lead a team that will win by representing a solution line(s) with key competitive differentiators.
  • Influence prospects at the senior leadership level.
  • Partner with related sales, marketing, and support resources in the successful advancement of critical opportunities and market penetration.
  • Meeting prep with research, agendas agreed on by customer and a tailored presentation coupled with impeccable follow-up.
  • Outline measurable and defined business objectives and goals with timelines, (related to revenue and growth of whitespace).
  • Provide management, feedback and recommendations on pipeline health, risk, opportunity, and progress.

  • Experience in successful sales management targeting corporate accounts, managing a team of 5+ sales professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop sales professionals, maximizing effectiveness and productivity.
  • Experience developing and executing regional sales plans addressing new customer acquisition and existing customer growth.
  • Creativity and proficiency in supporting sales cycles, including prospecting activity, qualifying opportunities, negotiating and closing sales and generating repeat business.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
