Trumid is looking for a QA Analyst with a demonstrated ability to learn and contribute to the quality assurance process of our software products and learn about the fixed income markets. The ability to operate independently and as part of a team is critical to success in this role. The position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices while collaborating closely with experienced professionals to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Test Execution: Execute test cases and scenarios under the guidance of senior team members to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of our software products.
  • Defect Identification and Reporting: Learn to identify, document, and prioritize defects, assisting in providing accurate and detailed descriptions to facilitate efficient resolution by development teams.
  • Test Documentation: Assist in creating and maintaining documentation including test plans, test cases, and test scripts, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Regression Testing: Support regression testing efforts to ensure that new features and enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
  • Automated Test Scripts: Contribute to the automated regression testing framework by writing test cases in the Gherkin style language.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and other QA analysts to align on quality standards and contribute to the timely delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Learning and Development: Continuously learn and enhance your skills in the software testing methodologies, tools, and technologies through training, mentorship, and hands-on experience.

  • Basic understanding of programming languages and familiarity with software development lifecycle concepts.
  • Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and growing in the field of quality assurance and in Fixed Income markets.

Trumid is an equal opportunity employer.

In compliance with New York City Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role in New York City is between $70,000 - $90,000. This range does not include discretionary bonus or other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with this job. Several factors are considered when determining a candidate’s compensation.
