Business Insider is hiring a Project Manager to join our Global Marketing & Studios team to successfully manage content campaigns and provide high-level client service to our content partners.

The Role & Team:
This is a client-facing position that will require the successful candidate to manage multiple campaigns at any one time, from large scale multi-media partnerships, to smaller solutions.
The role will work with multiple teams across the business, including but not limited to; sales, creative solutions, design, production, ad solutions, client service managers, media planning and ad trafficking, to gain insight and lead the project where involvement from these teams is required.
This role requires someone with experience in digital project management and a strong record of high-quality project execution and delivery.
This role sits within the revenue team based in New York. This role reports directly to the Senior Project Manager (NYC based) and sits on the GMS team. This position is based in our New York City HQ with an in-office presence of at least 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and project manage content and marketing campaigns, taking ownership of and leading the production process.
- Deliver outstanding client service on every campaign under your management to become a trusted partner to clients and agencies.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and potentially third party providers to ensure projects are successfully executed.
- Manage and clearly communicate with key stakeholders (internal and external) to track all changes to scope and/or schedule; mitigate/escalate issues as needed to resolve and achieve commitments.
- Own client and agency meetings, leading status updates.
- Develop and own accurate and achievable project timelines, scope of work, status reports, and campaign budgeting trackers.
- Ensure appropriate processes and procedures are in place internally so projects run on time and to budget with appropriate margins.
- Assist pre-sales team at the point of pitch/ proposal to answer advertiser/ agency planning questions as needed.
- Identify and respond to risks, proactively anticipate various risk factors and outcomes, and understand potential risks and challenges in order to mitigate them effectively.
The Ideal Candidate Has:
- Experience in a digital project management role, preferably in a publishing environment with experience of working with agencies/ clients/ external vendors
- A good understanding of the digital media landscape, sales process and commercial projects in general
- A proven track record of managing and delivering complex and multi touch point campaigns
- Aptitude for problem solving, influencing and motivating
- A meticulous attention to detail with the ability to pre-empt problems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally
- The proven ability of working to deadlines under pressure, while being flexible, organized and hardworking
- A can do attitude, willingness to deliver the highest level of service to clients
- A results-driven, high-performing, high-quality work attitude
- Experience working with project management tools (such as Airtable) is a plus
Salary & Benefits:
- Base salary: $65,000 - $70,000 (dependent on skills, experience, and competencies)
- Bonus available in addition to base salary
