The Role
The Program Manager, Deposit Programs will work with critical deposit-holding or issuing partners to manage the complexity of the FinTech relationships while balancing the strategic priorities across the partnership. You will provide exceptional partner experience while maintaining a high-level of in-depth knowledge of the relationship dynamics, pain points, and strategic planning.
You will sit in our Issuing team and report to the Issuing and Deposits Strategic Account Lead. This team delivers and maintains world-class partnerships and innovates with product teams along with establishing strategic direction for cards and managing the external ecosystem partners including networks, banks and vendors.
You will

  • Develop business relationships with decision makers within companies that are vying for market share within the FinTech industry
  • Meet with internal and external stakeholders to respond and resolve complaints and conflicts.
  • Identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects, lead/negotiate decision-making for efficient and effective resolution
  • Build deep relationships across teams at different levels of the organization
  • Partner directly, and where necessary lead, strategic banking partners to deliver in tandem with Cash App
  • Work and provide technical guidance to Product teams during any changes or new implementations to the card programs
  • Understanding of the Issuing contracts including obligations to partners while balancing unit economics
  • Manage invoicing and POs for the markets, ensuring that they are within budget and invoiced correctly
  • Improve programs including operations and cost efficiency
  • Contribute to Monthly and Quarterly business meetings


You have

  • 8+ Years experience in issuing payment cards
  • Experience with credit card, prepaid & debit cards
  • In depth experience in account management in the FinTech ecosystem
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Build and maintain rapport and trust with clients to foster long-term relationships and ensure satisfaction.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset
  • Capability to ruthlessly manage and prioritize multiple tasks
