The Role

Our Customer Success team is committed to helping customers adopt Asana as both a technology product and a holistic approach to teamwork. We strive to help all of our customers, across countries, industries, and functions, get off on the right foot and continue to get the most value out of Asana over time. As part of the Professional Services team, your role will have a paramount impact in our customers’ ability to realize business value swiftly. You'll champion the success of our paid Services sales while also working on increasing our services attach rate. All the while collaborating with our largest and most complex customers on Asana deployment. 

This role is based in our San Francisco or New York City office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner.   • Advocate for the value of paid services with both customers and account teams (e.g. Account Executives, Customer Success Managers) to help them understand the impact of paid services on the utilization and growth of their accounts; educate account teams on the use of paid services relative to other support and enablement motions offered by Asana
  • Partner with Account Teams to understand customer needs, scope deliverable solutions, and recommend either packaged service offerings or develop custom proposals / statements of work
  • Lead large, complex and/or custom deployment scoping and contracting motions across Professional Services, Technical Services, and Service Partner teams
  • Proactively identify subscription sales opportunities for Services attachment
  • Manage the health and data integrity of a full services opportunity pipeline in both Salesforce and Asana
  • Recommend delivery structure and resourcing across in-house and subcontracted Service Partners
  • Support field enablement in identifying and pitching Services opportunities
  • Partner with third party services partners who fulfill our subcontract program on joint GTM approaches, deal-specific management, and partnering to improve the partnership long term (e.g. identifying capacity and capability improvement areas)

  • 5+ years experience in customer-facing, paid consulting roles
  • Experience advocating for the value of services and partnering with account teams (e.g. Account Executives, Customer Success Managers) to pitch services to customers, preferably in a SaaS environment
  • Proven experience in consulting/paid services pre-sales activities, such as RFPs/RFIs and custom proposal development (including bespoke pricing proposals, resourcing structures, and delivery approaches)
  • Ideal if you have experience managing services opportunities end to end (receiving requests, aligning needs with packages or identifying the need for custom services, building buy-in with the customer and creating contracts/SOWs/Order Forms, etc.)

To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $164,000 - $208,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
