The Role

ActionIQ is a new kind of customer data platform that lets marketing teams tap directly into central data sources and activate it anywhere in the customer journey. Unlike traditional CDPs, ActionIQ keeps data securely where it lives and makes it easy for marketers to design personalized interactions that unlock revenue across the entire customer lifecycle. We're seeking a Product Design Lead to spearhead design thinking and maintain our design systems library. As a senior member, you'll report into our VP, Design and leverage your expertise in visual and experience design to solve complex problems and create innovative products. You'll shape the AIQ product vision, playing a pivotal role in scaling and innovating our core offering.

  • Extensive understanding of what our platform does and how it works
  • Claimed ownership in responsibilities of product designer
  • Maintained our design systems and UI pattern library and have built a partnership with Engineering in building out the StoryBook 
  • Collaborated with colleagues in design, product, engineering, and professional services, to expand our customer data platform to support our clients’ digital marketing strategies
  • Contributed to the ongoing rollout of new features and pages in the product roadmap 
  • Helped to define new processes for product and user experience design as we scale and grow

  • Maintain design systems and UI pattern library for the product design team and work closely with Front End to align the StoryBook UI components
  • Employ Design Thinking process while collaborating with cross-functional teams (product managers, engineers, data science, professional services) for optimal deployment 
  • Partner with the Technical Writer to streamline UX copy and content, ensuring user comprehension is effortless
  • Gather stakeholders and facilitate whiteboard sessions to sketch user flows and wireframes
  • Put together clickable prototypes to guide non-designers of the user experience
  • Deliver and present a comprehensive, detailed spec walkthrough to Engineers
  • Plan, recruit, and conduct user research
  • Apply quantitative and qualitative data to driver user research or optimize for intuitive user experience


  • Expert knowledge in Figma
  • Familiarity in Storybook and Chromatic or similar tools
  • Understanding of all stages of design thinking such as discovery, define, design, and delivery
  • Highly collaborative with a curious mindset to constantly seek feedback and perspective from others when working with cross functional teams
  • Ability to multitask in various scale of projects from simple UI feature reiteration, to designing of a data-heavy dashboard pages
  • Possess a strong understanding of data driven, marketing, or SaaS platforms
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen, articulate, and advocate designs

  • University Degree in Design, HCI, Interaction or similar area, or a portfolio to demonstrate the equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of product design experience
  • Experience in B2B platform/software company is a must

  • Our compensation package includes base salary, stock options, and the great benefits shown below.
    • The salary range for this role is:  $145,000 - $165,000
