The Role

The  Product Associate will help create and deliver quality business systems and operational tools, while working as part of a dedicated Agile Scrum team.  The Product Associate will interface with various internal/external operational departments with high levels of responsibility to understand the business behavior and needs to deliver scalable, reliable STP solutions that are critical to the day-to-day business.

The Product Associate represents the business while working with the Product Manager in prioritizing features for development, approving user stories, and ensuring open communication across all stakeholders.  The individual will also be responsible for maintaining the product backlog by creating, owning, and refining well-formed user stories which can be actionable by the scrum team.

The individual will represent the scrum team, when needed, to internal/external stakeholders, leaders, and other teams to ensure alignment by providing feedback to the program on enhancements.  The Product Associate champions change and effectively manages the implementation of new ideas, ability to align and motivate a team to achieve objectives.

How You'll Help Take Us There

  • Responsible for innovation and E2E launch of products
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with global operational teams
  • Works with cross functional teams including infrastructure, compliance, engineering, etc.
  • Translate product features into well defined requirements including user stories and acceptance test criteria
  • Prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog through refinement and grooming sessions
  • Remove roadblocks for the scrum team to help meet software and business objectives by gathering information and answering questions
  • Work towards becoming a subject-matter expert of your product

What We’re Looking for  

  • 1+ years of experience as a Product Analyst or Business Analyst type role
  • Successful track record of developing products within deadlines
  • Fixed income domain knowledge
  • Knowledge of Agile principles and process
  • Knowledge of Jira, MS Visio or similar, Word, Power point, Excel, SQL, Linux (basic)
  • FIX experience
  • Candidate must be articulate, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think broadly (across products and functions) and conceptualize practical solutions balancing user requirements with technical constraints
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent attention to detail

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $85,000 USD to $115,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
