The Capital One Brand team is seeking a Principal Associate, Marketing Automation to help us launch and scale this new B2B software line of business. In this role you'll manage the day-to-day operations of Marketo, our marketing automation platform, drive efficient and accurate campaign execution, and maintain overall system functionality for our growing martech stack.
The successful candidate for this role will partner closely with the rest of the COS marketing team as well as the COS RevOps team and others to ensure platform compliance, data cleanliness, and campaign effectiveness.
What you'll do

  • Manage all day-to-day operations of Marketo and other key marketing tools (Zoominfo, Litmus, integrations with Salesforce and other enterprise systems, webinar tooling, etc.)
  • Identify, implement and maintain new marketing tools and/or integrations needed to support evolving business & marketing team goals
  • Partner with RevOps team to maintain overall database cleanliness and health to enable accurate reporting and targeting
  • Own and manage end-to-end execution of email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, building and QA testing, sending, A/B testing, and reporting
  • Ensure marketing emails adhere to industry best practices as well as Capital One's enterprise standards
  • Act as the primary Marketo subject matter expert & primary point of contact with internal teams & external agencies/reps
  • Create and maintain processes & documentation related to our martech stack to help our team remain compliant and well-managed

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in a marketing automation or marketing operations role
  • Marketo Professional certification


Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of experience in B2B marketing
  • 5 or more years of experience managing Marketo
  • 5 or more years of experience working with Salesforce CRM
  • Adobe Marketo Engage Business Practitioner Expert or Adobe Marketo Engage Architect Master certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $118,700 - $135,400 for Principal Associate, Marketing
San Francisco and San Jose, California (Hybrid On-Site): $125,700 - $143,500 for Principal Associate, Marketing
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
