The Principal Associate will focus on marketing innovative digital products and ensuring our customers always have the latest important information and updates reach them from their inbox, to the app, and beyond.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Create, drive and execute multi-channel digital marketing campaigns to promote mobile app adoption and engagement, increase customer contactability, launch emerging new products, and connect with our customers during moments that matter
• Own end-to-end campaign execution, including intent refinement, copy and creative development, project and test plan creation, resource management, and measurement
• Partner closely with data partners to develop customer segmentation and targeted strategies for digital communications
• Analyze results and highlight key findings while making suggestions for future testing
• Design, implement and analyze A/B and multivariate marketing tests
• Consistently seek out emerging digital channels and marketing tool enhancements and proactively look for ways utilize them in your campaigns
• Be responsible for communicating within the cross-functional team and on behalf of the team to stakeholders and executives
• Influence prioritization of new/enhanced digital features that will deliver best in class experiences for Capital One consumers

• Does not shy away from data but rather leans into it to inform marketing and creative strategy recommendations
• Continually pushes the boundaries and asks how we can continue to do things better, identifying areas of opportunity

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or military experience
• At least 4 years of multi-channel marketing experience
• At least 2 years of digital marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in marketing for financial services or another highly regulated industry
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment with a track record of effectively working autonomously and navigating ambiguity
• Effective at communicating with and presenting to executive management in a compelling manner
• 5+ years of digital marketing experience

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $117,300 - $133,900 for Principal Associate, Marketing
New York, NY: $128,000 - $146,100 for Principal Associate, Marketing
Richmond, VA: $106,700 - $121,700 for Principal Associate, Marketing
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
