We are seeking a People Operations Assistant to provide administrative support, as well as assisting in the daily operations of the People Team (Human Resources). This entry-level role is ideal for someone with an interest in learning more about HR processes. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of administrative tasks and support our People team in activities like maintaining remote office operations, employee record-keeping, recruitment coordination, and data entry.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

  • Assist employees with access to our WeWork locations
  • Assist employees with travel expense reimbursement through our travel vendor
  • Assist employees with expense reimbursement for home office supplies
  • Organize and maintain electronic records related to our virtual offices
  • Prepare and send new hire kits, gifts and donations as needed
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed

People Operations Support:

  • Assist in maintaining employee records and HR databases, ensuring data accuracy and compliance
  • Help coordinate recruitment activities, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
  • Support onboarding processes by preparing new hire documentation and assisting in orientation sessions
  • Assist in employee engagement activities, including event planning and coordination
  • Handle sensitive information confidentially and in line with company policies

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Remote office experience required
  • Previous administrative or office experience is a plus, but not required 
  • Exposure to HR functions is a plus

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workloads
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A high level of professionalism and discretion, especially with sensitive information
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within Human Resources or a related field
