Role Description

We are searching for a Manager of People Analytics Tableau Dashboards to drive the strategy for developing a cohesive suite of HR and Recruiting dashboards for our internal customers. Specifically, this role will be responsible for evolving current dashboard capabilities and translating complex data insights into accessible, actionable, and visual tools that empower business leaders and our People Team to make data-informed decisions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain suite of People Analytics dashboards to support internal customers in visualizing key workforce metrics (e.g., retention, engagement, DEI, hiring).
- Manage a small but high-impact team of full-time developers, acting as a player / coach to tackle the breadth of data visualization priorities.
- Drive the strategy for evolving suite of People dashboards beyond their foundational state, with a strong point of view on utilizing advanced analytics tools, AI capabilities, and statistical methods to translate data into visually compelling, easy-to-understand insights.
- Oversee dashboard and data warehouse functionality, working closely with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data quality, data governance, and system integrity.
- Collaborate with People Team and business teams to fully understand customer needs and pain points, using customer feedback to scope enhancements, new dashboards, and longer-term dashboard roadmap.
- Provide mentorship and development opportunities to team members, helping them build skills in data visualization, analysis, and adoption of emerging capabilities (e.g., AI).
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of HR and Recruiting data, adhering to relevant data privacy and security policies and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Psychology, Data Analytics, Statistics, or Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis across both HR and Recruiting analytics, with a focus on dashboard development and self-service tools (in particular, Tableau).
- Proficiency in querying and navigating data warehouses and advising data engineers on data models, structure, and system integrations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with senior stakeholders to understand customer needs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, while maintaining a strong attention to detail and delivering high-quality results.
- Track record of successfully managing teams of developers or analysts.
- Humble attitude with a willingness to shift from high-level strategic thinking to stepping in and helping to drive execution alongside analytics, HR, and Recruiting teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in analyzing complex data and translate findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Deep understanding of HR and Recruiting processes, policies, and best practices, with a commitment to driving continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of statistical methods and their application to people analytics
- Strong understanding of HR and Recruiting systems (e.g., HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems, employee survey platforms, etc)
